Attention CCC members: We are curling the remainder of this week. After two days off for Christmas, we will be back on the ice tonight for the Men's League and again tomorrow night for the Woman's League.
Hope the Holidays find you well and not too crazy so far. Here is the link for people to sign up for the Friday night league and I hope many of you are able to participate. Our goal is to get back to two draws this year even though we know that this is a lofty one with the membership numbers we have this year. If you know you might miss a week or two, please still sign up and participate. If you know you can rarely make it, please sign up as a substitute so we know you can't make it.
The Talbot Center is doing their Christmas Party on Saturday night at 8:00 PM. Mark Stevens asked if we could give a them a curling lesson. Looks like about 14 people now for 90 minutes.
So far I have Rick, Travis and Joanne available (thank you very much). Could use a couple more, if anyone is free. It would be a nice way to thank them for their hard work getting the ice ready and our dehumidifier repaired.
Congratulations to the winners of today's finals matches at the Mid-Atlantic Women's Bonspiel.
The results were as follows:
First Event - Team Findlay
Second Event - Team McElroy
Third Event - Team Stannard
Fourth Event - Team Rudd
This weekend was a wonderful showing for all of our competitors and a fantastic effort by our volunteers. Thank you to everyone who participated and we wish you all the best this holiday season.
Congratulations to the club for placing 3rd in the Easton Old Tyme Holiday Parade on December 1st!! The inspiration for the float came to Sandy Bemis in a dream and Dick Bemis and Matt O'Shea were able to make the dream a reality. Now we need as many members as possible to show up at the Town Council meeting on Monday, December 17th at 6:45 p.m.
